they can't remember my name at this place either and have started calling me colleen. this appears to be a trend. maybe i should change my name to colleen and they'll finally get it right (or wrong..).

ahh, finally a weekend without really anything to do. i'm on the hunt for a new pad, but really nothing is needed to be done.and that, my friends, is fabulous!

i am so disoriented. the quick move has me all topsy turvy. at work i am so confused when my coworkers answer "we're in central wisconsin" to our customers geographical questions. ...wait, amn't i in MN??!! oh crap. this weekend, i was at a target in one of the TC burbs and was hushly talking about home gossip "just in case" someone knew me... but i was nowhere any of the back homies would be.i can't remember what happened to me two weeks ago and where i am now. help!on a side note, i am very excited for the TAHA sitch!!! wahooooooooooooo!
5 card poker on saturday night, church on sunday morning
first week under the belt. i think i'm going to enjoy this company...it's corporate america with the feel of a mom and pop's shop. was at JAM this weekend... running into cousins whom i haven't seen in many months, classmates whom i haven't seen in many years... hanging with people i grew up with and family. it was possibly one of the best nights i have had in a long while. being with those who know me and don't judge me makes me very happy. this weekend made me very happy.

no workout for the past week and i don't think there will be any this week either. yet my muscles are more sore than the first time i worked out in 5 years... i think it has something to do with all the packing, lifting, scrubbing.... all movements that the body's not used to. this is getting a little annoying. all this cleaning and it's not even for me. it's for someone else, whomever moves in next. ps: if you're looking for a 1 bedroom, quaint little apartment in downtown minneapolis, let me know. i have a hook-up.
i'm really looking forward to thursday eve. i hope people show up. i want to see everyone before i leave, but really don't have a lot of time. i have so much to do to get the house ready for vacancy!
then, off to a weekend on the lake before i start the new gig. didn't give myself any breathing room, no vacation... gotta keep going.
and then, country jam the following weekend, a quick stop back in mpls to pick up the remaining boxes, and then off to another friend's wedding shower. whew..the next 2 weeks will be BUSY! i am ready.

independence day celebrations didn't really happen yesterday. i spent the day with my eldest aunt, went stove shopping and then watched HGTV for the majority of the day. i was asleep by 9ish...before the fireworks were exploded.
it's been a weekend of cleaning and packing. i'm not excited to go apartment hunting again. or start from scratch with the friend base. but these are all things that come with the territory of moving and taking on new paths in life.

i'm not sure what just happened here.... i'm sitting in the War Room with Jones and a rolly-chair sneaks in through the door. with no hesitation, legs go where the head should be and the head is upside down where the feet should be, sunglasses upside down on the upside down head and a show begins. i'm so confused as to what and why that happened. i think i may miss the random/funny/awkwardness of this place....
