they can't remember my name at this place either and have started calling me colleen. this appears to be a trend. maybe i should change my name to colleen and they'll finally get it right (or wrong..).

Oh Con, don't let the people with the belly-button names give you guf. They are jealous and wish they could be unique too. ;)
I say you should either:
a) Make a really big, sparkly, tricked-out nametag and wear it constantly
b)Start introducing yourself as a different but moderately similar name each day. (e.g. 'Hi Coleen' 'Actually it's Corrine, how are you?!'- then the next day you'd be Cassie, etc.)
