peace, serenity

got the apartment sitch all figured out. signed the lease and all ready to get moved in next weekend. pretty sure i saw a drug delivery happen saturday, but you'll have that even in little medford. just a few blocks of downtown and right off of 94, so that's wonderful.

(trent, i was secretly wishing east coast ...or even chicago.. would've worked out. but maybe someday i'll get a transfer)

and i'm gonna miss you like a child misses their blanket

so, it's been a while. and today, i have time to write because i'm on "vacation". already went into work for an hour to tie up today's loose ends and get doug pointed in the right direction. i'm very worried about my customers, but i'm sure it's only worry because after thursday of next week, they won't be mine anymore.

ok, so backing up 2 weeks ago, not only did i get to see hollybean for the first time in over a year and have a fantastic time with both she and amy, but i also had a job interview. in minneapolis (well, one of it's burbs). and not 6 hours later, i had a new job. quite a happy birthday, if you ask me. and ever since, i've been having mild panic attacks. not because i'm moving to a much larger city or because i'm leaving a sure thing for the unknown or because every aspect of my life is changing all at once. but i'm nervous that the job starts on the 29th and i have no place to live. ....although i did get an email from a cousin this morn telling me that i will have a place to crash at her house if all else goes bust.

so, today, i am apartment shopping. patrick will be coming down from st. cloud so that i have an extra set of eyes and questions for the places. and tomorrow, a wedding and reunion with some people that i never thought i'd see again in my life. VERY excited. all of patrick's old roommates from my freshman and sophomore year at college. the standards, you knew you had a bunch of cronies to hang with, group of people. both the boys and girls reunite. with alcohol and music :). hooray.

i really wish gas prices would go down for the next month or so. this back and forth for showers, graduations, weddings, and moving is going to kill the pocketbook. yikes.

sooooo.... as of monday the 28th, connie from sconnie will be a resident of minnesOta. it's a good thing. but i will always be a sconnie girl.
